Nowadays, you can find more than enough travel information for the destinations you choose from who’s got the best and cheapest flights to where are the best street foods. There are tips on how to pack even.

Being the mover and shaker that I am, I’ve learned a few things over the years and well, I am entrusting you with some lessons learned.

I started traveling to new places as a young child and there’s nothing more refreshing and educational as experiencing other cultures, lands, people, and foods.

You can’t put a price on that, however, when I find some hot travel information or a hack that really saves time and money, I get all fuzzy inside. Don’t you? To help you get through your next flight, I’ve listed a few of my best travel advice to take with you.

Take Advantage of Cheap Flight Tickets

When I see the cost of a flight, I want to kiss the feet of whoever came up with the concept of the frequent traveler miles! If you’re not taking advantage of this travel information, you should be. It can save you tons of money on plane tickets over a period of time.

Another way to benefit from a flight is to accept the offer of a layover in another city you want to visit. For instance, if you are flying to Virginia from the New Orleans International Airport and there was a stop in Atlanta, GA, you could extend the stay and resume your flight a few days later.

Ummm, I just killed two birds with one stone. Love it! Ask your travel advisors to arrange the details for you.

Arrival and Hotel Check-In

Once you reach your hotel, you should be greeted by the hotel’s bellman. This person can be a lifesaver if you’re traveling with lots of baggage. Be sure to tip your bellman accordingly.

Most of these men work for nominal wages and tipping increases their income. With that being said, there are actually some countries where tipping is not necessary for everything that your attentive bellhop does.

Travel Information for Getting Through Security

Although I love, love traveling, one of the most frustrating aspects of air travel is having to stand in the long lines for a security check. But have you noticed that the lines are usually shorter on the far left side of the checkpoint?

The best travel information there is – pack light – bring only what you need.

According to the experts, most people are right-handed. Therefore, it’s normal for those individuals to go to their right instead of heading left. As a result, fewer people are waiting in line and getting to your appointed rounds is quicker. I know… smart, huh?

Best Travel Information: Learn the Language

While you’re on the flight to another country, why not learn the language? I mean, that’s terrific travel advice, wouldn’t you say? Because you can’t be totally oblivious to everything the locals say, you need to communicate some things, especially when it comes to safe travels.

So, get this highly popular app called Memrise. It will help you to remember key phrases in Russian, French, German, Spanish and so much more. I tried it for free and I think the application is fun, easy to navigate and extremely useful.

Electronic Devices

I don’t know about you, but I keep my wireless devices close. I’m either on the phone, returning missed calls or checking emails on my tablet or on the laptop, clicking away on my keyboard.

Having these things will keep you pretty busy while you wait for the next flight or while you’re on the plane, but you should only bring a couple of devices.

Only bring what is absolutely necessary, but don’t forget to put your portable charger on your travel planner while you’re on vacation. Use a portable charger for those times when you can’t plug-in and need a boost.

Streaming Stick

Another invaluable device is the streaming stick. If you plan on watching television at all, this compact device will allow you to watch what you want to watch on Hulu, Netflix or HBO.

What I love about one particular streaming stick is that it permits you to bypass the hassles of signing in with the hotel’s public network and allows you to sign in through your smartphone’s browser.

Well, I hope I’ve given you some travel tips that you can use. Don’t forget to call Brewton Travel for your travel needs and requests.
